Scudder Publishing Group offers a limited number of display ads in each of its monthly and weekly publications.

All ads must be approved by the SPG advisory board.

Most display availabilities are on a first-come, first-serve basis. All one-year display ad buys include a featured banner on the SPG website. All other ad buys include a link on the SPG website.

Readership/Subscriber Profile: Primary readership is made up of senior-level executives (over 79% have titles of director or above) in charge of trading and/or risk management, strategic and tactical planning, operations, business development, new ventures, IT, marketing, sales and finance in the competitive energy and energy software sectors.


Specifications

The size needed for a 1/4 page ad is 3 1/2 x 4 1/2 inches. The size needed for a 1/2 page ad is 5 x 7 1/2 inches.

All publications are distributed as PDF files. Though we can accept any type of file for display ads, our preferred formats for all outside ad graphic files are EPS (under 500K total file size) or JPEG files. However, in JPEG format the total file size must be under 100K.

**FYI: If fonts within the ad graphics are outlined (as in Illustrator), the ad will typically appear bitmapped in the final PDF version, which is viewed by our readers. Our subscribers typically view these publications on-screen first and then print them out -- so 300 dpi is acceptable.

Ads may be changed or substituted at any time and as often as the advertiser might request. All new or substitute ads must be received 72 hours prior to running in the publications.

'Revolver' Ad Rate Schedule
A Revolver agreement involves 1/4 page placements in every other issue of The Desk and 12 issues of The Risk Desk. The Revolver guarantees placement of your ad in every other monthly issue (12X per year) of The Risk Desk, and in every other issue of The Desk (24 issues total). The Revolver also includes one (1) full page display ad in The Risk Desk (in addition to eleven 1/4 page placements) and one (1) half page placement in The Desk (plus 23  1/4 page placements). $28,500

'Swaption' Ad Schedule

A Swaption agreement involves 12 - 1/2 page placements in The Desk (1 per month) and 12  1/2 page ads in The Risk Desk or 18 in New Power Executive. Includes a banner on the SPG Website. $30,000

File Attachments: Call for prices
Promotional brochures, white papers, announcements, conference agendas and related materials can be attached to the regular issue distribution or sent as a stand alone file document to SPG subscriber/trial subscriber lists. Maximum file size for redistribution, 200K when attached to a regular issue of The Desk or New Power Executive; 175K when attached to The Risk Desk. Stand-alone distributions are limited to 400K file sizes. Call for details on availability.
